Ruger’s story began when his previous owners came to the difficult decision to rehome home through our Rehoming Center. Since then, Ruger has been under the care of the Houston SPCA, where he’s become an integral part of our community. Despite spending over 100 days with us, Ruger has maintained his endearing personality, showcasing unwavering affection and an infectious playfulness that warms the hearts of everyone he meets.
One of Ruger’s most charming qualities is his love for playing. Our play yards have become his sanctuary, where he could spend hours running around. Whether chasing after a ball or exploring his surroundings, Ruger’s zest for life is contagious.
But it’s not just his playful nature that makes Ruger unique. His affectionate disposition has won over the hearts of our dedicated volunteers. Ruger delights in cuddles and belly rubs. This inherent sweetness makes Ruger an ideal companion for anyone looking for unconditional love and companionship.
