HIGH TEMPERATURES

High temperatures are persisting, and heat-related cruelty cases haven't stopped. Keep pets indoors when possible and provide plenty of shelter, food, and water.

Heat Safety for Pets

We have zero tolerance when it comes to animal cruelty in the Houston metro area. Our teams are uniquely equipped to rescue many types of animals from all kinds of abuse and neglect.

Have Your Birthday Party at Houston SPCA

Stay tuned — birthday parties will return! Please check back frequently as we are working on re-launching our children’s birthday parties on our beautiful campus for all animals.  We are building a plan to help ensure safety for you, your children and your guests. Please check back in Spring 2023 for updates. In the meantime, if you have questions, please email info@houstonspca.org and we’ll do our best to answer them.

Tour with a Group

The Houston SPCA has suspended campus tours for groups temporarily due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19. This includes Scout Tours, School Tours, or Special Group Tours. Please check back in Spring 2023 — we can’t wait to see your faces on our campus (and the animals can’t wait, either!).

Invite Us to Your School

The Houston SPCA offers a robust Education Program in schools throughout the greater Houston area.  Due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19, we are unable to provide in-school lessons or presentations. Please check our website for the latest information and updates for Spring 2023.
