Kids Can Save Lives, Too

Your little ones are the future of animal rescue in our region — and beyond. Here are ways to get them involved in our mission.

Have Your Birthday Party at Houston SPCA

Stay tuned — birthday parties will return! Please check back frequently as we are working on re-launching our children’s birthday parties on our beautiful campus for all animals.  We are building a plan to help ensure safety for you, your children and your guests. Please check back in Fall 2022 for updates. In the meantime, if you have questions, please email and we’ll do our best to answer them.

Tour with a Group

The Houston SPCA has suspended campus tours for groups temporarily due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19. This includes Scout Tours, School Tours or Special Group Tours. Please check back in Spring 2022 — we can’t wait to see your faces on our campus (and the animals can’t wait, either!).

Enroll in Critter Camp

Summer Critter Camp ‘21 was a sold-out success!  Thank you to the more than 600 campers who enjoyed daily animal interactions in the Adoption Center, chatted with animal experts, and played lots of games, safely in the Carruth Education Center over the course of 10 weeks. Stay tuned for more programs for our community school-age children coming in 2022.

Invite Us to Your School

The Houston SPCA offers a robust Education Program in schools throughout the greater Houston area.  Due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19, we are unable to provide in-school lessons or presentations. Please check our website for the latest information and updates for Fall 2022.
