Adoption Transfer Program
The Adoption Transfer Program at the Houston SPCA has a mission to establish a network of organizations to help us save some of our most at-risk animals. The Houston SPCA rescues over 7,000 animals annually through our Animal Cruelty Investigators and our 24/7 Injured Animal Rescue Ambulance. Partnering with the Houston SPCA means that you are giving animals in need a second chance in life!
Want to partner with us to help save lives?
All Houston SPCA transfer candidates are ADOPTION READY and include:
- No Fees for Spay/Neuter.
- No Fees for up-to-date vaccinations and dewormer (including rabies).
- No Fees will be charged for transfer candidates.
- No Fees for Health Certificates if required.

Transfer Candidate Listing Page
Accessible to our Adoption Partners, we have created a real-time Candidate listing page. This listing is integrated with our animal database, providing an up-to-date listing of every pet waiting for a partner to accept them into their program. These listings are complete with a current downloadable Medical History for partner organization review.
