Adoption Fee: $700
Location: Houston
Adopter experience needed: Advanced

Current assessment and personality: El Dorado is a very playful and inquisitive young horse. He takes some time to warm up and become trusting of the person working with him, but once he does, he is very willing to try his best to please. El Dorado needs things taken slow and introduced quietly to him. In his time with us, we have worked on teaching him ground manners and getting comfortable with tack on. He has recently been started under saddle and has had less than 10 rides. He is still learning upward transitions and is still not very understanding of leg aids. He has worked in both the round pen and arena and moves much easier with less pushing in the arena. He still needs guidance from someone on the ground while in the round pen. He does a wonderful job at paying attention to his rider and he does his best to please. He has promising potential to make someone a lovely horse with time and patience!

Vices: Recently started cribbing when bored. It has been more controlled with a cribbing collar.
