Current assessment and personality: El Dorado is a very playful and inquisitive young horse. He takes some time to warm up and become trusting of the person working with him, but once he does, he is very willing to try his best to please. El Dorado needs things taken slow and introduced quietly to him. In his time with us, we have worked on teaching him ground manners and getting comfortable with tack on. He has been started under saddle and recently has made a lot of progress. He is still learning upward transitions as he can act on the lazier side however is currently going walk, trot, canter. He has worked in both the round pen and arena and moves much easier with less pushing in the arena. He does a wonderful job at paying attention to his rider and does his best to please.
