Current assessment and personality: Ursula is an opiniated mare with a lot of personality. She can be more dominate in a herd setting however she is doing just fine in a pasture with a group of our other dominant mares. Ursula has been with us recovering from her surgery for almost a year and now, fully recovered, she is deserving of a forever home that will provide her with the attention and care she deserves. She cannot be ridden however she is pasture sound and requires no special maintenance.
Potential: Pasture Pet/Companion.
Health/lameness: Ursula arrived in our care with a severe club foot on her right front which required surgery. She received check ligament surgery in March and has since recovered. She does require 1 shoe on her club foot. Over time, she may not need the shoe anymore.
