Pet Wellness ClinicName: Taffy
Animal ID: 531143
Gender: Female
Age: 5 years old
Breed: Gaited
Height:
Adoption Fee: $500
Location: Hempstead
Adopter experience needed: Very Advanced
Training level: Halter broke, lunging with tack
Current assessment and personality: Taffy came into our care with no human interaction and was feral, but has since been making big strides with us! She has been progressing well within her ground work and is currently lunging in tack. She can be snorty or flighty of different objects but she holds herself together well and respects your space. This mare is incredibly smart and a fast learner however she requires firmness because she will challenge her handler. She needs someone who will be consistent within her training and set her up correctly. Taffy has been such a fun and rewarding horse to work with and will make an amazing project for someone!

Loads and Trailers: Somewhat, she prefers to load in a open stock trailer.
Leads: Yes
Catch in pasture: Yes
Stands for farrier: No requires sedation however in training
Ties: No she will pull back, in training
Bathes: Somewhat, in training
