Pet Wellness ClinicName: Stya
Animal ID: 287612
Gender: Mare
Age: 27 years old
Breed: Quarter Horse
Height: 15.2hh
Adoption Fee: $600
Location: Hempstead
Adopter experience needed: Beginner/Intermediate
Training level: Broke to ride
Current assessment and personality: Don't let this lady's age fool you, she has so much more left to offer! Stya is a laid back mare that gets along with everyone! She is very broke and an easy ride as she has a great foundation under saddle. We have discovered that she does require annual hock injections and chiropractic work to keep her comfortable. She recently received this in our care and she came out like a different horse to ride & much more comfortable! Due to her age and maintenance, she would be best suited for light riding.
Potential: Light riding
Health/lameness: Requires annual hock injections done by a vet. She remains on a daily joint supplement with us due to her age. She does also need her feed soaked due to some missing/worn teeth.
