Keep your pets warm!

  • We are closing our campus early at 5 p.m. today, January 20, including the Adoption Center, Rehoming Center, Foster Care Center and Wildlife Center. Normal operations will return on Wednesday morning, January 22.
  • Houston SPCA Animal Care Team will stay on campus during the winter storm to care for more than 500 animals including injured wildlife.
  • Animal cruelty investigations and injured animal ambulance will continue services on a modified schedule when roads are safe for travel.
  • Equine and farm animals have been brought inside the Equine Rescue Center where they have been given extra hay for warmth in their stalls and horses will be given electrolytes for hydration.
