The Houston SPCA will host the Clear the Shelters pet adoption event at their William & Evelyn Griffin Campus for All Animals on Saturday, August 26, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. All large dogs, at least 35 pounds, will have a $10 adoption package which includes spay or neuter surgery, up-to-date vaccinations, a microchip, a free sample bag of Hill’s Science Diet, and free post-exam from VCA Animal Hospitals. In addition to adoptable pets, the campus will host free activities and giveaways throughout the day.

The Houston SPCA is located near Memorial Park at 7007 Old Katy Road, Houston, Texas 77024, and is open Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
