Our Cruelty Investigator rescued Kesha after receiving reports of an embedded harness. Despite its removal, the damage was severe, resulting in deep lacerations to her chest and a severe open wound to her neck. We immediately rushed Kesha to our hospital, where our veterinary team cleaned and wrapped her wounds. She will stay under our care until fully healed.
Embedded collars on dogs are acts of cruelty. Without proper treatment, such injuries can lead to severe infections, sepsis, or respiratory issues. To prevent this, provide an appropriately sized collar and adjust it as the animal grows.
