Mary S. Montague Scholarships

There is a limited number of need-based scholarships available. They are granted to those who qualify and in the order these applications are received. Our goal is to give students headed into 3rd through 8th grade the opportunity to learn about the world of animal welfare and career paths such as veterinary medicine, animal care, and age-appropriate Animal Cruelty Investigations despite economic challenges.

The Houston SPCA offers schools a robust educational program throughout the greater Houston area with age-appropriate, on-site presentations that inspire and educate. We’ve reached more than 200,000 teachers, students, and parents over the past 20 years with impactful lessons that evoke empathy, kindness, and compassion.

Group Tours

Scout Tour scheduling will reopen in September 2024 after our summer program, Critter Camp.

There is a $10 donation per person for a private tour and presentation. We look forward to seeing you soon!
