Jana & Pete DeLongchamps
Pete and Jana DeLongchamps began volunteering with the Houston SPCA in 1997 when they moved back to Houston and quickly began fostering in a significant way. In 1999 their family began expanding with 3 kids Ryan, Maddie, and Joseph who quickly became experts in caring for the zoo. Then in 2001 a small ranch became a part of the DeLongchamps lives, and the fostering took off in a big way with Horses, Cows, Donkeys, Geese, Ducks, Chickens, Turkeys, Pigs, Goats, Peacocks, Swans, and Tortoises at various times over the years. These are in addition to the thousands of Dogs and Cats they have fostered over the past 27 years. Now the kids are grown and have begun pet families and fostering of their own. A family tradition continues…

Their commitment to animal welfare aligns with our mission, making it possible for us to continue our lifesaving work. We are deeply grateful for their partnership and ongoing dedication to the health and well-being of pets in our community.
