We are open!

We’re thrilled to announce the opening of the Houston SPCA Pet Wellness Clinic, dedicated to serving the beloved pets of our community. Our clinic is committed to delivering top-notch yet affordable veterinary care for your furry companions, encompassing essential vaccinations and preventatives.

As of now, our services encompass vaccinations, preventatives, and online pharmacy services (coming soon). However, we do not currently offer veterinary care for injured or unwell pets, nor do we provide spaying or neutering services. Stay connected with us through social media for the latest updates on our Pet Wellness Clinic as we work diligently to expand our offerings in the near future.

Cheryl Byington has not only demonstrated commitment to others through her work at BP before retiring after 41 years but also to the more than 60 organizations in the Houston community that have benefited from her leadership roles, mentoring, and service on countless boards and committees. She has been honored with several awards and honors, including the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation Woman of Distinction Honoree, Houston’s 25 Most Beautiful by H Texas magazine. She is a Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame Inductee. Cheryl loves to travel and has visited over 60 countries.

Brian Teichman has spent most of his life dedicated to helping those in need. When he was only ten years old and guided by his parents, Rudy and Donna, he raised matching funds to protect the city of Galveston’s historic cemetery from vandalism. Since then, Brian has been deeply committed to the betterment of others and animals around the globe. He helped raise millions of dollars for the theatre, literacy, and children with disabilities and autism from Houston to New York and the United Kingdom. Even Brian’s beloved Labrador Bertie played an active role in helping raise awareness of pet homelessness when she was named “Houston Celebrity Pet of the Year.” For this year’s Howl-O-Ween Ball, Brian said he is looking forward to raising much-needed funds for the Houston SPCA and making a lasting impact on our community’s animals.

2023

Honoree

Houston SPCA is thrilled to announce that we will honor Chevron at the 2023 Howl-O-Ween Ball. Chevron has long supported the Houston SPCA’s Wildlife Center of Texas. In 2023, Chevron became even more involved through expanded support and volunteering. Chevron also sponsors our Environmental Education Series, which annually educates 70,000+ people on the peaceful co-existence of humans and wildlife.

2023

Our Emcee

Award-winning and beloved TV host of KHOU’s Great Day Houston will be our emcee this year at the Houston SPCA Howl-O-Ween Ball. Duncan is well-known for her contagious humor and will no doubt entertain hundreds of guests at one of Houston’s premier fall events.

The 2022 Houston SPCA Ball was a Great Success

With nearly 300 guests in attendance at the 2022 Howl-O-Ween Ball, held in October supporters of Houston SPCA almost $1 million for animals in need. Thanks to every donation from generous donors, we are prepared to continue our mission into 2023 saving animals from abuse and neglect, serving our community to keep more pets in homes, and responding quickly in times of disaster.
