If you see an animal injured or in distress, contact our 24-hour Animal Ambulance by calling 713-880-HELP (4357).  An animal is injured or ill if a physical wound is visible or he/she cannot stand/walk/function as normal. An animal is in distress if he or she is trapped, for example, in a sewer or unable to feed on their own, such as a newborn animal.

We Do It All

Our EVMT (Emergency Veterinary Medical Technician) team relies on the training and experience of Veterinary Technicians to quickly assess injured animals’ medical needs as soon as we arrive at a call of an injured animal in need. Under the guidance of Senior Vice President of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Roberta Westbrook, this experienced team also supports our on-site hospital operations, responding to animals in danger and providing an unparalleled quality of patient care.
