Cruelty & Rescue Services
Here at Houston SPCA, we have 12 full-time animal cruelty investigators and the area’s only injured animal rescue ambulance. We respond to more than 6,200 cases of abuse and neglect each year, and our ambulance rescues over 5,500 animals from immediate danger and distress annually.

Houston SPCA’s Wildlife Center of Texas cares for more than 12,744 wild animals comprising over 380 species.

Disaster Response
We are the leading nonprofit agency for animal-related disaster rescue, relief, and resources in the region and are called to step in when hurricanes, fires and storms ravage the region.
