We respond to more than 8,000 cases of abuse and neglect each year, and our ambulance responds to nearly 7,000 distress calls every year, assisting animals in immediate danger.

Animal Rescue Ambulance
We’re the only agency in the Gulf Coast region providing an Injured Animal Rescue Ambulance service.

Cruelty Investigations
Our full-time Animal Cruelty Investigation team responds to more calls than any other animal welfare organization in Texas.

Wildlife Rescue
Houston SPCA’s Wildlife Center of Texas cares for more than 16,000 wild animals, comprising over 220 species annually.

Disaster Response
We are the leading nonprofit agency for animal-related disaster rescue, relief, and resources in the region and are called to step in when hurricanes, fires, and storms ravage the region.
